Stride lets you browse, filter, start, and create structured multi-week training plans tailored to your goals.
How to Use Stride Training Plans

Browse Available Plans
- Open the Plans page from the main navigation.
- Review each plan card, which shows:
- Plan name and description
- Official badge for Stride-created plans
- Type: Base, Build, Peak, or Transition
- Discipline: FTP Increase, Big Event, Crit/Road Racing, or Time Trial
- Days per week and hours per week
- Training score per week and total number of weeks
- Creator and their avatar

Filter and Search for the Right Plan
Use the filters at the top of the Plans page:
- Owner: All Plans or My Plans (plans you created)
- Type: Base, Build, Peak, or Transition
- Official: All Plans, Official Only, or Community Only
- Discipline: FTP Increase, Big Event, Crit/Road Racing, or Time Trial
- Time commitment: Under 6h/week, 6–9h/week, or 9+ hours/week
Use the search bar to find plans by name. Click Reset to clear all filters and show all plans again.

If you already have training plans set up, an alert appears at the top of the Plans page. It lists your current active plans along with their date ranges, so you can see what is already scheduled before starting a new one.

View Details and Start a Plan
- Click View Plan on any plan card to open the plan detail page.
- Review the full weekly schedule and overall structure.
- When ready, click the option to Start Plan.
- The plan’s planned workouts are added to your calendar for the specified date range.

Create Your Own Plan
- Click Create Plan in the top-right corner of the Plans page.
- Build your own multi-week training plan, defining weeks, workouts, and structure according to your goals.
- Save the plan so it appears under My Plans and can be started like any other plan.
Choosing the Right Plan
- Use Discipline and Time commitment filters together to quickly find realistic options.
- Prefer Official plans if you want Stride-designed structures; choose Community Only to explore user-created options.
- Always check your active plans alert before starting a new one to avoid overlapping schedules.
