Quick Start Guide
Get up and running with Stride. This guide walks you through account setup, connecting your devices, and taking your first steps.
Create your account#
Sign up at stride.is or directly on the iOS app with your email address.
You'll receive a one-time login link to your inbox each time you sign in.
Complete onboarding#
After signing up, Stride will walk you through a short onboarding flow. You'll be asked for your weight, sport preferences, and other details that help Stride calculate your training metrics accurately.
You'll also be prompted to connect your devices and platforms during onboarding. If you skip this step, you can always connect them later from Account > Integrations.
Connect your devices#
Stride supports the following integrations:
- Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead - Activity sync, metrics, and workout push. For Garmin, make sure you tick the "historical data" option during setup.
- Zwift, Rouvy - Activity and workout syncing. Zwift does not support historical import, but you can download a zip of your past activities from Zwift Power and upload it via Account > Import.
- Whoop, Oura, Polar - HRV and recovery metrics.
- Strava - Syncs activity names only. Strava does not share detailed activity data, so connect your device directly (Garmin, Wahoo, etc.) for full metrics.
Once connected, Stride will automatically import your recent activity history and sync new activities going forward. For a full list of what each integration supports, see Connecting Your Devices.
Pro tip
If you have older activities that didn't import automatically, you can upload FIT files manually from Account > Import.
Let Stride analyse your data#
After your activities are imported, Stride automatically calculates:
- Training Score, Load, and Fatigue for every activity
- FTP, heart rate threshold, running threshold, and swimming pace estimates
- Power and heart rate curves across your training history
You can also set your own custom zones under Account > Zones.
Start training#
You're set up. Here's what to do next:
- Open the AI assistant - Describe your goals, available time, and upcoming events. Stride AI will build a personalised training plan. See Stride AI.
- Review your dashboard - Check your Training Score, Load, Fatigue, and power curve on the Overview page. See Your Dashboard.
- Join or create a team - Train with others or work with a coach. See Teams & Coaching.
