Joining Your Coach's Team

If your coach or club uses Stride, you join their team with the team code they give you.

When you sign up#

When Stride asks Do you have a coach?, choose Coach/team already on Stride and enter the code. You will see the team's name before you join. If the team pays for its athletes, you skip the free trial and card details altogether.

If you already have an account#

• On the web: go to Settings > Teams and enter the code.
• On iPhone or Android: tap your avatar and choose Join a Team.

Codes work in upper or lower case. If yours is not recognised, check it with your coach.

What your coach can see#

Your team's coaches can see your training, your sleep and recovery and your calendar, and can add and change sessions on it. Other athletes on the team cannot see any of it. Sessions and events your coach publishes are marked as coming from your team, and Stride AI plans around them rather than moving them.

If your team pays for you#

Your subscription page shows that the team pays, and you are not charged. If you were already paying on the web, the team takes over from the end of your current period. If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, cancel that subscription yourself, because Stride cannot cancel a store subscription for you.

Leaving a team#

On the web, open the team from Settings > Teams and choose Leave Team. To rejoin later you need the team code again.
